Avi's backstory

Avi was shipped to live with his Aunt and Uncle in Limsa once Doma had fallen to Garlemald. He spent his younger years as an arcanist in which his poor control over aether caused him to have constant conflicts with his family. Who expected him to be just as attuned as the rest of his family supposedly was. After a particularly heated argument, around the age of 14, Avi just took off into the night and began working anywhere that would pay him or give him a roof over his head and food in his belly. It was once he took up Chocobo farming that Avi found his love and assumed that's what he wanted to do for the rest of his days. Though there was one who was said to be stubborn and mean towards any potential rider or caretaker. Avi's stubbornness coming through - took it as a challenge and spent weeks getting pecked, sleeping in the stables with Paprika, and attempted riding many times before Paprika finally began warming up to Avi. As months passed, the birds were all taken by Maelstrom to be used as Calvary. Avi, not keen on losing a bird that he loved, joined up and began serving in scouting missions with Paprika. Avi would spend the rest of his days in service to Maelstrom doing all manners of scouting, assassination, envoy, bodyguarding, and even acting as a samurai in Kugane in a means to improve relations between the countries where his skills as a dagger wielder improved and he learned the arts of Ninjutsu
